Turkish Machinery Group participated FOOMA “International Food Machinery and Technology Exhibition” which was held in Tokyo between 9-12 June 2015.
Turkish Machinery took place in “Global Space” with the representatives of other countries. During exhibition, catalogs and brochures including information of Turkish machinery companies and sebsectoral associatons were distributed to the visitors.
Main product groups in FOOMA were food manufacturing, processing and preparation, food materials processing, production control and information technology, packaging, filling, storage and handling. 553 companies participated in the exhibiton in 2015. Moreover 5 Turkish company took part in the exhibiton as visitor.
Necmettin Öztürk; Board Member of Turkish Machinery, Özkan Aydin; Secretary General, and Erinc Tarhan; Chief of Machinery Department participated FOOMA on behalf of Turkish Machinery Group. The Group visited Ahmet Bulent Meric; Ambassador of Turkey to Japan and Musa Demir; Tokyo Trade Counsellor to provide information about the Japanese market and exchange views about machinery sector. Turkish Machinery Group also visited JMC-Japan Machinery Center for Trade and Investment. The purpose of the Trade and Investment Center is to organize activities that will increase Japan's foreign trade and to promote direct investment. JMC has 270 members, which are machinery manufacturers, trading companies and engineering firms.
The manufacturing industry is driving force of Japanese economy. Turkish food products have a big potential in Japan, accordingly Turkey’s food machinery export to Japan has potential to increase by the promotion of Turkish machinery.
